The next testing date for fulltime and part-time positions will be November 10, 2022.
The starting annual wage for a fulltime paramedic is $60,000 and a fulltime EMT-B is $47,000.
Starting wages for part-time employees are $14.17 for EMT-Bs and $18.09 for paramedics. Annual pay increase for eligible part-time employees.
Part-time employees are required to submit enough availability to be scheduled four 12 hour shifts per month with one shift being a weekend. It is also required to submit availability for one of six District holidays.
Fulltime employee benefits include LAGERS retirement and medical insurance paid in full for the employee and 50% for family. The District pays for life insurance, AD&D, STD and LTD for fulltime employees. There is life insurance coverage for part time employees as well. Dental and Vision policies are also available to fulltime employees.
Fulltime and part time employees have access to online training and district taught CEUs. Education allowance for fulltime employees. Uniform allowance for both fulltime and part-time employees.
Fulltime employees work a 48/96 schedule. Personal time, vacation time, and sick time benefits.
